701 Hero Day: Celebrating North Dakota's Everyday Heroes  

  Key Components:  

1.   Public Recognition:   July 1st (7/01), "701 Hero Day." Encourage individuals and organizations statewide to participate in recognizing and thanking heroes through various public platforms, including social media, local events, and community gatherings.

2.   Community Events:   Organize community-wide events and activities to celebrate and honor heroes. These events could include parades, award ceremonies, volunteer opportunities, and special promotions offered by local businesses as a token of appreciation.

3.   Hero Spotlights:   Share inspiring stories and profiles of local heroes through traditional and digital media channels. Highlight their acts of bravery, dedication, and service, showcasing the diverse range of heroes making a difference in North Dakota.

4.   Educational Programs:   Partner with schools and educational institutions to incorporate hero-themed curriculum and activities. Engage and inspire students through teaching about the importance of service, sacrifice, and community involvement, and fostering a culture of appreciation from a young age.
